COVID-19
The pandemic has already spread throughout the world with very regrettable consequences for human loss.
Another consequence is interpersonal relationships with family and friends. Also the commercial relations with clients and suppliers will be affected, with a certain distance in the personal treatment.
Business strategies will also be affected and their operational plans will be modified downwards to overcome the crisis that this pandemic will have left us.
But one of the big changes will be the investment geostrategy in new projects. It is evident that the trade war between the great world powers will not be over and that surely once the health crisis is over, we will witness a new and different scenario with unthinkable strategic movements before this crisis.
If there is something positive to highlight, it is that plastics, so reviled lately, have contributed in a key way to help overcome this crisis.
The enormous efforts of the different beverage and edible oil packers to supply the market, the manufacturers of plastic food containers, bottles and containers, as well as the manufacturers of the different plastic components for respiratory devices, protective glasses, facial displays, syringes, etc., have shown that plastic is an essential raw material in daily life and that its detractors act unaware that the problem is not plastic but human laziness and the lack of rigor in recycling.
BRENT OIL
The price of oil is reaching record lows in its price. However, an uncontested news item released last Friday, April 3, in which crude oil production would decrease by 20 million barrels per day, has boosted its price again and on the same Friday closed with a rise of almost 14% with respect to the previous day.
